Inter Milan Line Up Udinese & Torino Stars Among Targets For Lavish Summer Spending With ‘Mountain’ Of Champions League Revenues | OneFootball

Inter Milan are targeting the likes of Samuele Ricci and Oumar Solet as they look to spend big in the transfer market this summer with Champions League revenues.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInter1908. They note that the Nerazzurri are sitting on a “mountain” of cash from Europe’s top club competition.

Inter Milan are really gearing up for the summer transfer window now.

And it will be a different kind of window than the Nerazzurri have become used to in recent years.

Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, Inter have had to work within severe financial restrictions in the transfer market.

The Nerazzurri have effectively had to make up for an ongoing financial crisis each summer. They’ve had to make big money sales, and target bargain signings.

But that all appears to be in the past now. Inter have righted the ship on a financial level.

And with €133 million and counting coming in from the Champions League in prize money alone this season, Inter have the war chest to really go out and spend big for the first time in more than half a decade.

According to the Corriere, Inter have drawn up a list of transfer targets. And there are some ambitious ones in the mix.

In midfield, Inter have already signed Petar Sucic. But they have a further reinforcement in mind in the form of Torino midfielder Samuele Ricci.

Another midfielder that the Nerazzurri are eyeing up, the Corriere reports, is Genoa’s Morten Frendrup.

Marseille want €30 million for Henrique. Meanwhile, Inter have gone as high as €30 million with their offer.
