Inter Milan star calls Real Madrid’s Arda Güler to Italy | OneFootball

A member of the midfield ranks at Serie A heavyweights Inter Milan has this week revealed his hope of Real Madrid starlet Arda Güler making his way to the club.

Youngster Güler has of course endured something of a hit-and-miss campaign to date in Spain’s capital.

Though he has seen an uptick in game-time compared to his debut term in La Liga, the 20-year-old remains some way down the pecking order in Carlo Ancelotti’s attacking ranks.

All told, Güler has racked up 30 appearances across all competitions, notching a respectable three goals and five assists along the way.

Owing to his lack of game-time, though, rumours have continued to circulate in the media, surrounding a potential summer move away from Madrid for the midfielder.

And one player who would love nothing more than to link up with Güler at club level, as alluded to above, is Hakan Çalhanoğlu.

Speaking to the media whilst on international duty alongside Güler with the Turkish squad this week, Inter Milan standout Çalhanoğlu admitted:

“Arda Güler? He’s a great player, he’s like a little brother to me. Of course I’d like him to come to Inter! I don’t know everything about his situation, so I won’t say much. But he should play more. Let’s hope he comes to Inter.”
