It is now looking as though defender Palacios will leave Inter on loan this month.

The Argentine only just joined the Nerazzurri during last summer transfer window.

Over the first half of this season, Tomas Palacios has gotten up to speed in training. However, he has featured very little – just a handful of cameo appearances from the bench.

Therefore, a loan move could allow the 22-year-old to gain more playing time.

One team that has come forward with an interest in Tomas Palacios is Monza.

The Brianzoli are eyeing the Argentine up as a big defensive reinforcement for the second half of the campaign.

Sky Deutschland confirm that Monza already have an agreement in hand with Inter on a loan deal for Palacios.

However, on the other hand, Bayer Leverkusen are also considering a move for Palacios.

The German champions do not, however, have an agreement with Inter.

Palacios will take the next couple of days to make a decision.

There is not much time remaining in the January transfer window.

However, Palacios still has a bit of time in which to consider his future. He will wait and see if anything develops as far as a possible switch to Leverkusen, and decide.

But the agreement between Inter and Monza is there. If the Argentine is to give the green light, then everything would be ready for him to make the move on loan.
