The future of Nicola Zalewski will likely unfold in Milan where Inter are waiting for him.
In fact, La Gazzetta dello Sport writes that Zalewski is one step away from Inter.
The negotiations between the two clubs are now in the final stages and the player could soon move to Milan to complete Simone Inzaghi’s squad.
If it had been up to the Nerazzurri management, the player would have already landed today, but there are still some bureaucratic details to sort out before it becomes official.
One of the key steps for the transfer was the renewal of the contract with Roma, given that Zalewski’s deal was expiring in June.
The signing of the contract extension with the Giallorossi was necessary to allow the loan to Inter, who will also have a buy option, the details of which are yet to be defined.
Inter are not expected to pay a large sum for the possible permanent signing.
The operation will allow Inzaghi to have a valuable alternative on the wing, also allowing Carlos Augusto to be used more frequently as Bastoni’s back-up.
