Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma has emerged as a potential transfer target for Inter Milan.

However, his agent, Enzo Raiola, put such speculation to bad in his latest interview with ChiamarsiBomber.com via FCInterNews.

Gianluigi Donnarumma came through the AC Milan academy before making his Serie A debut in 2015.

After refusing to commit his long-term future to the San Siro, he left Italy to join PSG on a free transfer in 2021.

Despite his ties with the Rossoneri, Inter have reportedly been keeping close tabs on the 26-year-old.

With Yann Sommer close to retirement, Simone Inzaghi needs a reliable goalkeeper to replace the Swiss veteran.

Although Inter forked €15 million to sign Josep Martinez from Genoa last summer, they’re still in the market for a new shot-stopper.

Donnarumma would be a massive coup. But he won’t return to his homeland anytime soon.

Donnarumma’s contract at the Parc des Princes runs out in 2026.

However, the parties are already negotiating an extension, according to Raiola.

“He is PSG’s and the national team’s goalkeeper and is highly regarded by several clubs, which is only natural,” Raiola admitted.

“Talks for a renewal began last summer, and we are working on it with great calm.

“Due to UEFA’s financial regulations, the club is scaling back financially, reducing its wage bill from over €500 million to less than half.

“We have accepted PSG’s new contract management policy and are working on the renewal possibility.

“We are trying to find the best solution, but there is no rush at the moment.

“PSG has repeatedly expressed its desire to continue with Donnarumma, and the same applies to him.

“There have been no contacts with Inter or any other clubs.

“If he were to be placed on the market, he would have no trouble finding interested teams.

“But as things stand, there is no open door in that direction.

“If something changes in the coming months, we will evaluate our options.”
