Davide Frattesi says he’s happy at Inter Milan, and wants to relive moments like last season’s Serie A title triumph.

The Italian international spoke to Italian broadcaster DAZN, via FCInterNews, after his starring role in today’s Serie A win over Lecce.

Frattesi has been at the centre of a fair few transfer rumours in recent weeks.

Reports have indicated that the 25-year-old former Sassuolo midfielder is not altogether happy with his playing time at the Nerazzurri. And that he has pushed for a move – particularly to Roma.

It is certainly true that Frattesi has not always been a starter for Inter.

Prior to this evening’s match, the Italian international had not started a match in Serie A in a whopping three months.

But on the other hand, when Frattesi has been called upon, he has certainly always made his contribution.

Davide Frattesi: “Want To Relive Serie A Title Win At Inter Milan”

Davide Frattesi has scored quite a few decisive goals for Inter in the last year and a half. These have come both from the start of matches and from the bench.

Frattesi scored the opener for Inter this evening. He also won the penalty from which the fourth goal came.

Meanwhile, Frattesi had also scored as a starter in a Serie A win over Udinese earlier this season.

Last campaign, meanwhile, most of Frattesi’s biggest goals came off the bench.

Even without starting regularly, the Italian international more than had his say with two stoppage time winners on the way to the Serie A title.

And Frattesi’s first ever goal for Inter was also a very memorable one in stoppage time. He came off the bench to score against AC Milan in the derby.

Of his performance against Lecce this evening, Frattesi said that “I’m happy because I was able to help the team.”

“The important thing is that we win,” he continued.

Of the future, Davide Frattesi said that “We hope we’re able to keep going, and that the future has the kinds of feelings like last season.”

“That’s what I want to say,” Frattesi said. “I’m happy here, and we want to keep moving forward on this path.”
