Roma coach Ivan Juric addressed the media on the eve of the match with Torino.
The Croatian technician answered reporters’ questions in the aftermath of Roma’s defeat to Fiorentina.
”On Sunday we collapsed emotionally,” said Juric. “After 40 days of hard work I expected a different reaction.”
”I think it’s better to suffer such a defeat than lose 1-0 and hide all the problems affecting us.”
”Maybe it can be a positive turnaround as it was for Milan when they conceded so many goals from Atalanta. Let’s see how we react tomorrow.”
”We must focus on the little details and be prepared tactically and mentally,” he added.
”Torino are a strong team, well organized, and they’re having a good season so far.”
”I don’t think tomorrow is a deal-breaker for me. What happens, happens. I do my job and not worry about the noise. We need to understand the meaning of wearing this shirt.”
”There were some heavy words exchanged after Fiorentina. We had some very heated discussions but it’s better that it happened and that all that came out to steady the ship. Now it’s water under the bridge. We want to win tomorrow.”
”We told each other the truth and that’s what matters. Everyone has their job to do. We musn’t forget our roles,” he added.
”If the players are not convinced of my work they can tell me and I’ll leave, but that doesn’t seem to be the case.”
