Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham has taken to social media, to send a message of congratulations to teammate Jacobo Ramón.

This of course comes fresh off an evening to remember for the defender on Wednesday.

Real Madrid marked their return to action last night, welcoming RCD Mallorca to Spain’s capital for a La Liga clash.

When all was said and done, Los Blancos emerged on the right side of a 2-1 result, after recovering from an early goal down. And it was the aforementioned Jacobo who proved himself the surprise hero.

After Kylian Mbappé pulled Carlo Ancelotti’s hosts level during the 2nd-half, Jacobo – in his first league start of the season – popped up with an injury-time winner.

The last-gasp effort sparked widespread celebrations across the Santiago Bernabéu, with Real Madrid’s players and fans alike having looked overjoyed for the club’s young stopper.

And as alluded to above, post-match, one such player moved to send a public message to Jacobo.

In a post on his official Instagram account, Jude Bellingham unveiled a photo of he and his teammate celebrating, accompanied by the caption:

‘Very happy for you my friend, Jacobo Ramón’
