Milan Primavera extended their unbeaten run to five games, including four wins, with a convincing performance away at Juventus this afternoon. Three goals were scored in the process, with the Rossoneri now in fifth place.

After the joy mid-week, beating Inter on penalties in the Coppa Italia quarter-finals, Milan Primavera returned to league action this afternoon. Although it was away at Juventus, they were still the favourites with the Bianconeri behind in the standings.

Needless to say, it was a good game by Federico Guidi’s boys as they scored three goals and kept a clean sheet. Alessandro Bonomi opened the scoring after just 23 minutes, converting a penalty that he won himself, and it was certainly a composed finish.

Juventus played decent football in the first half but were not able to find the back of the net, so the scores remained 0-1 as they headed into the break. The Bianconeri didn’t really get a chance in the second as just two minutes in, Emanuele Sala headed in the second goal.

It was great work from Vittorio Magni on the right-hand side to create some space and get a good cross into the box. Things got even better in the 68th minute, as Victor Eletu was on the receiving end of a short corner, finding the back of the net with his weak foot.

Thanks to the win, Milan are now fifth in the standings and six points behind Roma in first place. Hopefully, they can keep this unbeaten run going.
