Juventus seem determined to bring Sandro Tonali back to the Serie A this summer and are working towards that.
The Old Lady want some new leaders and firepower in the engine room and those running things at the club are convinced that the Italian international is the man for that job. As per Gazzetta.it, the asking price for the midfielder is expected to be at least €60m-€70m and for Juventus to have any chance, they must qualify for the Champions League. Indirect initial contact has already been made. The plan that the Bianconeri are hatching is to pay €35-40m and add a player to the negotiations. Top of the list is Douglas Luiz who was signed for big money from the Premier League last summer but has just failed to settle in at Turin but still has plenty of goodwill back in England. Federico Gatti could also be an option given that Eddie Howe’s side were interested in him last season. Dusan Vlahovic is another name being touted. The Serbian has lost prominence at Juventus and with half the world’s footballing giants expected to go after Newcastle’s Alexander Isak in the summer, Vlahovic could be used as a make-weight.
