Juventus can breathe a sigh of relief as centre-forward Dusan Vlahovic has not been diagnosed with an injury after limping off during Serbia’s 0-0 draw with Denmark on Monday evening.
The Bianconeri striker returned to Turin and arrived at JMedical for a check-up on Tuesday morning. The club have since confirmed that the tests showed no injury and that the 24-year-old’s condition will be monitored on a day-to-day basis.
“Following the left thigh muscle discomfort felt yesterday with his national team, Dusan Vlahovic underwent diagnostic tests today at JMedical. The tests ruled out injuries and his condition will be monitored daily,” a statement on the club website read.
Assuming that he is fit to train, Clahovic should be involved with the squad for the highly-anticipated Serie A clash between Juventus and Milan at San Siro on Saturday.
Thiago Motta still has several other injury concerns to contend with, however, as Bremer and Juan Cabal remain out for the remainder of the season with cruciate ligament (ACL) injuries, while Douglas Luiz, Arkadiusz Milik and Vasilije Adzic are also unavailable.
