Pierre Kalulu has promised that he will be the team’s ‘number one supporter’ from the sidelines when he serves a two-match suspension after a costly red card during his side’s 1-1 draw with Lazio in Serie A over the weekend.
Kalulu was sent off after an incident of violent conduct, which has earned him a two-match ban which means that his 2024-25 season is now over.
Juventus were 1-0 up at the time of the Frenchman’s second-half dismissal, and eventually conceded a late 96th minute equaliser, which briefly lost the Bianconeri control of the race for the Champions League places.

Fortunately for the Old Lady, Atalanta’s 2-1 win over Roma means that Juventus remain in fourth place in the Serie A standings, albeit with four teams still within two points of the final Champions League spot with two games left to play.

Kalulu, who will not be eligible to play against Udinese or Venezia in the next two matches, has written a message to the Juventus supporters on Instagram following the confirmation of his ban earlier this week.
“Not the way I wanted to finish this season,” Kalulu wrote.
“What’s certain is that even on the sideline, I’ll be the team’s number one supporter. Let’s finish the job together. Forza Juve.”
