Kylian Mbappé misses out: Real Madrid’s Player of the Month nominees for March | OneFootball

The group of players in the running to lift the award for Player of the Month at La Liga giants Real Madrid has on Thursday been unveiled.

And it features high-profile inclusions and exclusions alike from Carlo Ancelotti’s star-studded squad.

When it comes to the latter, the most notable absentee comes in the form of Kylian Mbappé, who has already scooped several POTM prizes to this point in his debut campaign in Spain’s capital.

Instead, getting the nod are several of Mbappé’s attacking partners in crime.

In the running to be named Real Madrid’s best for March are Brazilian duo Rodrygo, and Vinícius Jr.

Moving back into midfield, and Jude Bellingham and Federico Valverde are both up the accolade, with Aurélien Tchouaméni also recognised amid what has been a thoroughly impressive return to form.
