Roma midfielder Leandro Paredes will step on the pitch tonight as the team’s captain.

The Argentine will lead the Giallorossi against Elfsborg in Roma’s second Europa League fixture of the season.

Before the game, Paredes spoke to Sky Sport.

“We’ve done good things with Juric so far,” he said. “We’re playing differently than before. We’ve played some good games.”

“We didn’t play as well as we would have wanted against Venezia, but we have to continue like this because the road is still long.”
