Germany's clash with Italy has been one to savour with both teams going hell for leader in their bid to put one foot in the Nations League's semi-finals.
The visitors achieved that aim after taking a 2-1 lead with Leon Goretzka putting them ahead after Tim Kleindienst cancelled out Sandro Tonali's early opener.
Fittingly, the Bayern Munich midfielder's deft header to meet club teammate Joshua Kimmich's corner at San Siro was his first on the international stage in four years.
Sunday marks the last time that Goretzka found the target with Die Mannschaft in a 2-2 draw with Hungary during their EURO 2020 campaign.
Talk about perfect timing!
