Manchester City and Manchester United have confirmed their starting lineups ahead of today’s Manchester derby at Old Trafford. Although both teams have had disappointing seasons today’s match is a crucial fixture. Bragging rights and the chance to get one over on their local rival always make it a big occasion. For Pep Guardiola’s side, it is a massive fixture in their chase to secure Champions League football for next season.

Manchester City will enter today’s match with Erling Haaland, Rodri, Manuel Akanji, John Stones and Nathan Ake all out due to injury. Their absence is a big blow to Pep Guardiola’s side. But the City squad is packed with quality. So whatever lineup Guardiola picks will have enough quality in its ranks to pick up three points today.
