Manchester United face Fulham in the Premier League this evening in a tough trip for Ruben Amorim’s side.
Amorim did not hold back on his criticism of the side’s – or his – performances after defeat to Brighton last weekend. United responded with a last-gasp win over Rangers in midweek, as Bruno Fernandes scored in stoppage time to seal the points in Europe.
Then Red Devils are 13th in the Premier League table and have won just one of their last six Premier League games. They have not won on the road in the league since December 15th.
In contrast, Fulham have lost only one of their last 10. However, six draws across that run have left the Cottagers seven points adrift of the European places.
Matthijs de Ligt and Leny Yoro are doubtful for the trip to Craven Cottage after both were substituted during the win over Rangers with issues. Amorim was coy on the availability of the pair for this weekend.
Noussair Mazraoui is expected to be fit after missing the Rangers win as a precaution and Andre Onana should replace Altay Bayindir in goal.
Mason Mount, Luke Shaw and Jonny Evans all remain sidelined, though Victor Lindelof has returned to training to boost the defensive stocks.
Manchester United predicted XI: Onana; Mazraoui, De Ligt, Maguire, Martinez, Dalot; Ugarte, Mainoo; Amad, Fernandes, Hojlund.
Fulham host Manchester United in the Premier League on Sunday 26th January 2025. Kick-off at Craven Cottage is 19:00 GMT.
Fulham vs Manchester United will be available to watch on TNT Sports 1, TNT Sports Ultimate and Discovery+.
