Milan’s Noah Okafor is nearing a move to RB Leipzig on loan with an option to buy, according to Luca Bianchin, which in turn opens up a spot for Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford to join the Rossoneri.
As reported earlier in the week, RB Leipzig are looking to ramp up their winter business with signings in both defence and attack, with Okafor being one of them. Should the Swiss forward move to Saxony, André Silva is likely to depart the club after Leipzig tried to offload the Portuguese forward in the summer, to no avail.
In regards to Okafor, who is currently sidelined with a calf injury, Fabrizio Romano reports this morning that the 24-year-old will undergo his medical today.
Marco Rose’s side are also closing in on a deal to sign Wolfsburg’s Ridle Baku for around €4m and €5m. The German’s contract expires in the summer but to avoid losing the defender on a free transfer, VfL will allow Baku to leave this month for a fee.
