Nuno Tavares is back in training for Lazio ahead of Sunday’s Serie A clash with Inter Milan, whilst Gustav Isaksen is still out.

The match will be hugely important for both teams, and could play a defining role in shaping the top places in the league table.

Inter will certainly want three points to keep the pressure on Napoli at the top of the table.

Meanwhile, Lazio will be keen to keep their hopes of finishing in the top four alive.

And there is a major fitness boost for the Biancocelesti ahead of this weekend’s match.

LazioSiamoNoi report that wingback Nuno Tavares is back in training for Marco Baroni’s team.

The former Arsenal and Benefica man has been a key player throughout the season for Lazio. His attacking runs down the left flank have been a key weapon for the capital club.

However, Tavares has also suffered from injury and fitness problems through the campaign.

The Portuguese international picked up a hamstring injury in mid-April.

Tavares missed a few matches with that injury. However, he has returned to training and can be available against Inter on Sunday.

Like Tavares, Isaksen has been a key player for Lazio under Marco Baroni. However, he picked up a muscle injury against Juventus last weekend, and will be unable to feature against Inter.
