Serie A giants Napoli are yet to replace Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and are now facing problems in their move for Allan Saint-Maximin.
La Gazzetta dello Sport report today that while there is an agreement between Napoli and Al-Ahli for the Frenchman and the player has also bid farewell to his Fenerbahce teammates, it is the Turkish club that is causing problems and holding up the loan move.
Fenerbahce currently want something in return from Napoli in the form of a fee or a player. As of now, the Partenopei are not willing to do that at all. And they do not want to have a reduced squad either.
After the game against Roma, frenetic phone calls began to sort out the move and there were discussions between intermediaries and directors. An agreement of €4 million in the loan fee exists between Napoli and Al Ahli but it is diplomacy that is holding up the transfer.
