Atalanta midfielder Ederson is reported to be one of Manchester City’s primary transfer targets to replace the injured Rodri, but Atalanta will try to keep the Brazilian star at the club in the coming months.
Atalanta’s new transfer strategy may affect Man City’s search for Rodri’s replacement.
La Dea, in fact, are willing to keep all their stars at the club, something they already did last summer with Ademola Lookman and Teun Koopmeiners.

The Nerazzurri ultimately convinced Lookman to stay in Bergamo but had to sell Koopmeiners to Juventus for nearly €60m.
Known as a selling club, Atalanta have recently changed their strategy as they aim to reach the summit of Italian football after winning the Europa League last season.
As reported by Calciomercato.com, Manchester City will have to deal with La Dea’s new transfer policy as the Premier League giants have targeted Ederson as a potential midfielder reinforcement.
The 25-year-old is ‘untouchable’ in Bergamo, and even an offer of around €60m may not be enough to persuade Atalanta to sell their central midfielder.
