La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Juventus will be forced to drop their main transfer targets, Victor Osimhen and Sandro Tonali, if they fail to qualify for the Champions League this season.
The race for a Champions League spot in Serie A will likely have transfer consequences for Newcastle United given that one of their stars, Tonali, is a top Juventus target for next summer.
The Bianconeri lead Roma by just one point in the table, so a win in the season’s final game at Venezia would send Igor Tudor’s men straight to the 2025-26 Champions League.

Clearly, playing in Europe’s elite competition next season would give the Bianconeri a much-needed financial boost, especially ahead of the summer transfer window.
Gazzetta insists that Tonali and Osimhen are the main Juventus targets for the summer, although recent reports suggest the Napoli loanee is in talks with Al-Hilal and has rejected an offer from the Old Lady.
As for Tonali, Juventus plan to use part of the Champions League revenue to make an offer for the Italian midfielder, but the Bianconeri would also be glad to include Douglas Luiz in the deal.
Without Champions League money, Juventus’ appeal and budget would naturally decrease, so the Bianconeri would look to Benfica’s Florentino Luis as their main midfield target.
