France international midfielder Paul Pogba (31) has reached an agreement with Serie A giants Juventus FC over the termination of his four-year contract which was set to expire in 2026. In an official statement, Juventus announced that both parties “have reached a mutual agreement over the termination of their contract as of 30 November 2024.” Juventus add they wish Pogba the very best for his professional future.
Pogba was not expected to play for Juventus again amid his lengthy four-year ban for doping, although the latter had been reduced to 18 months by the Court of Arbitration for Sport. The CAS ruling meant that Pogba would have been able to return to action in March 2025. But Juventus head coach Thiago Motta never really thought about giving the former Manchester United midfielder a way back in a rejuvenated Juventus side.
According to Sky Sports’ Kaveh Solhekol, Pogba is currently training in Miami, Florida. The 2018 World Cup winner with France is reportedly in search of a new club and is keen to play for a side competing in this summer’s FIFA Club World Cup, set to be held in the US.
