Nice end PSG's unbeaten run in the league with 3-1 home loss

OGC Nice handed Paris their first loss of the Ligue 1 season after their 3-1 victory at the Parc des Princes, ending their quest of an invincible season in the league. Former Marseille player, Morgan Sanson scored a brace for the host, while Ndayishimiye made it 3-1. Meanwhile, Fabian Ruiz leveled the score in the first half but it was ultimately not enough to avoid defeat.

Despite a strong ball possession, Luis Enrique's men failed to create clear cut chances against a well-organised Nice team inside the first 25 minutes of the game. Nonetheless, Ousmane Dembélé saw his effort saved superbly by Bulka, former PSG keeper, while Joao Neves header from the resulting corner was also paried away by the Polish goalkeeper to keep both sides level (26').

Minutes later, Nice's keeper denied Kvaratskhelia from close range after a remarkable solo run from the Georgia international (28'). Against the run of play, Morgan Sanson who made his first start of the season, opened the score for the visitors from close range to conclude a good collective sequence (34').

Just seven minutes later, Fabian Ruiz leveled the score as he scored his fourth goal of the Ligue 1 campaign. The Spaniard enjoyed a clever ball from Ousmane Dembélé as his superb half volley went through Bulka's leg (41').

Just 22 seconds into the second half, Morgan Sanson scored his second goal of the game to put his side back on top, as Paris suffered a nightmare start (46').

Ndayishimiye's header made it 3-1 for the visitors on a free-kick (70') as Paris' unbeaten record in the league appeared to hang on by a thread after Luis Enrique chose to sub out several key players, including Marquinhos, Dembélé and Doué.

The visitors then saw out the game and handed their first loss of the season to Luis Enrique and his team before their crucial Champions League game next week.

Up next, Luis Enrique and his side will travel to London for the second time this season to face Mikel Arteta's Arsenal in a crucial Champions League semi-final at the Emirates Stadium on April 29.
