A photo of two members of the first-team ranks at Real Madrid looking in nothing short of shock during their side’s meeting with Barcelona has come to the fore online.

This comes amid one of most spectacular collapses ever seen in El Clásico.

Spanish football’s two biggest clubs are of course currently locked in action, in the finale of the Supercopa.

And, as things stand, it is Barcelona who find themselves en route to a frankly historic victory.

After Kylian Mbappé opened the scoring to put Real Madrid in front inside the five-minute mark in Saudi Arabia, Barca hit back in staggering fashion.

By the time the half-time whistle sounded, Hansi Flick’s troops found themselves 4-1 in front, owing to strikes on the part of all of Lamine Yamal, Robert Lewandowski, Raphinha and Alejandro Balde.

Raphinha, meanwhile, has since made it five.

And, safe to say, two players who could not quite believe what they were witnessing on the Real Madrid side of things were Luka Modrić and Brahim Díaz.

Spotted on the bench amid their side’s collapse, the pair looked nothing short of taken aback:
