The centre-back is known for his positioning and aggressive style of play. He anticipates the threats really well and doesn’t shy away from going to tackles. He is physically strong, remains calm under pressure and sends good diagonal balls.

Real Madrid need a centre-back

Real Madrid have woes in their defensive line and it’s quite evident this season. The injuries to David Alaba, Eder Militao and Antonio Rudiger left them short of options. They don’t have enough depth to cover the positions ideally. Moreover, they didn’t even sign a replacement for Nacho Fernandez.

Hence, it makes sense that the Whites will go after a solid defender next summer. Though the club have identified William Saliba as their top priority, Arsenal will surely not let the defender go so easily. Therefore, the Spanish club are eyeing for more options in the market.
