Real Madrid fans make anger with players clear during Dortmund clash | OneFootball

The home crowd in attendance at Real Madrid’s meeting with Borussia Dortmund this evening made use of the opportunity to make their frustrations known.

Carlo Ancelotti’s troops, of course, are currently locked in action.

In their return to action on the continent, Real have welcomed the aforementioned Dortmund to the Spanish capital, for a Champions League clash.

Safe to say, however, that things, thus far, have not exactly gone according to plan for Los Blancos.

Owing to a hugely underwhelming first-half performance, the Spanish champions found themselves heading in at the interval two goals down.

This came after Donyell Malen’s opener on the half-hour mark was quickly added to by Jamie Bynoe-Gittens from close range.

And, as alluded to above, upon the referee’s whistle bringing the opening 45 minutes to a close, the Real Madrid faithful did not hesitate in airing their grievances.

As highlighted by Mario Cortegana of The Athletic, in fact, the crowd at the Santiago Bernabéu rained down on their side with whistles, understandably expecting much, much more.
