Eduardo Camavinga back in training

And, there was a positive update for Real Madrid as midfielder Eduardo Camavinga was back in group training today, as confirmed by Mundo Deportivo.

The young Frenchman, who had an abysmal outing against Barcelona last weekend, did not train yesterday as he was out with an illness. As such, there were some doubts created about his availability for tomorrow’s cup tie.

But, Camavinga was back in today’s session and trained normally with the rest of the group, indicating that he will be available to take on Celta Vigo tomorrow.

Meanwhile, the likes of Federico Valverde, Jude Bellingham, and Kylian Mbappe, all of whom worked in the gym during yesterday’s sessions, were also present in the group training today.

Jesus Vallejo, who did individual work during Tuesday’s preparatory sessions, also trained normally and is set to be at the manager’s disposal.

As such, Eder Militao and Dani Carvajal appear to be the only two players who will not be available for Real Madrid when they host Celta Vigo in the Copa del Rey Round of 16 on Thursday night.

David Alaba, who has been back in training for a couple of weeks now, could receive his first minutes after over a year tomorrow.
