Mbappe has struggled to deal with the high line presented by Hansi Flick’s side, and this shows in a record that he became the holder of during the match.

With eight offsides in the match against Barcelona, Mbappe is now the holder of the most offsides in a La Liga match in the last decade.

A brace for Robert Lewandowski in the early stages of the second half puts Barcelona firmly on top of their rivals, as they stormed to El Clásico glory and extended their lead at the top of the La Liga table.

Further goals from Lamine Yamal and Raphinha only extended Barcelona’s lead and had Real Madrid fans leaving the stadium before the final whistle was blown.
