Real Madrid talisman ‘enamoured’ by Barcelona’s style and tactics under Hansi Flick | OneFootball

Barcelona might be going through a difficult time in La Liga right now, having secured just six out of the possible 24 points.

But the Catalans have performed exceedingly well against quality opposition, namely Real Madrid.

Barça have gotten the better of their arch-rivals in each of the two meetings this season. In the first half of the season, Barcelona beat Real Madrid 4-0 in La Liga while their most recent matchup saw the Catalans secure a 5-2 win to clinch the Spanish Super Cup.

Bellingham impressed with Barcelona’s play

Barcelona’s recent success against Real Madrid appears to have impressed midfield sensation Jude Bellingham, reports Catalunya Radio.

As per the report, the Englishman has been ‘enamoured’ by Flick’s Barça, after the way they were able to beat Real Madrid twice this season.

Bellingham even told his inner circle about how the Catalans were able to exploit Real Madrid’s weaknesses in both matches.

The fact that Barcelona’s proficiency has been pointed out by none other than Bellingham is hardly surprising.

The Englishman has always been one of the more vocal members of the Real Madrid setup, willing to bow down to none and not afraid of putting out bold statements.

Bellingham, in fact, is in ‘love’ with Hansi Flick and his tactical regimen. So much so, after the Super Cup final, the midfielder openly said that the main difference between the two clubs was that Barça players knew what they had to do.

Keeping that in mind, Real Madrid surely have a point to prove when they face Barcelona next time.

The reigning European champions are slated to face Barça in La Liga on May 11 at Camp Nou, though the final venue has become a bone of contention.

However, there is a substantial chance Barcelona and Real Madrid may face much sooner in any of the cup competitions.
