One of the game’s most defining moments saw Lozano at the center of controversy, as he was fouled by Kylian Mbappe in the buildup to a disallowed Real Madrid goal.

Madrid’s coaching staff reportedly took note of Lozano’s effectiveness, as he ranked among Espanyol’s best performers in key metrics.

After all, the midfielder completed 20 successful passes at an impressive 83.3% accuracy, created two big chances, and recorded 37 total interventions – showing his influence on both ends of the pitch.
