Real Valladolid star on verge of Ajax switch | OneFootball

A member of the defensive ranks at La Liga outfit Real Valladolid is on the verge of a move to The Netherlands, with Ajax.

That’s according to transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, who points towards Lucas Rosa as the player in question.

Left-back Rosa has for his part played a starring role for Real Valladolid across the season to date.

One of first names on the team sheet of boss Diego Cocca, the 24-year-old has featured from the off in all but one of his side’s 22 La Liga outings.

And, along the way, Rosa did enough to pique the attentions of those behind the scenes at one of the continent’s most recognisable clubs.

As confirmed by the aforementioned Fabrizio Romano, Dutch heavyweights Ajax are in ‘advanced talks’ to land the Brazilian ahead of the upcoming winter transfer deadline.

The deal is labelled as being at the ‘final stages’.
