According to Fichajes, Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has reignited his interest in Manchester City striker Erling Haaland.
This time, with Rodrygo Goes potentially on his way out, the Spanish giants may have a genuine opportunity to make a move for the Norwegian forward.
The end of the season has not gone as smoothly as expected for Madrid, and now the club is evaluating big decisions ahead of the summer window. One of the most surprising developments has been the situation surrounding Rodrygo.
The Brazilian, once seen as a key part of the club’s future, is now unsettled. His absence from the El Clasico, combined with frustration over his reduced role in an attack led by Vinicius Jr., Kylian Mbappe, and Jude Bellingham, has triggered serious doubts about his future in the Spanish capital.

With clubs like Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United, and even Manchester City closely monitoring Rodrygo’s situation, a sale is now being considered. If Madrid were to let him go, the transfer fee could be in the region of €100–120 million.
This would put the club in a much stronger position financially to launch a bid for Haaland, whose price exceeds €170 million, along with a yearly salary nearing €30 million.
Despite Haaland recently signing a contract extension at City, his agent has not closed the door on a possible move in the future.
Sources at Valdebebas are fully aware that signing him won’t be easy, but the scenario changes if Rodrygo leaves. Should negotiations with Vinicius also become complicated, Madrid might find the perfect opening to act.
Florentino Perez dreams of assembling a forward line featuring both Haaland and Mbappe. If the circumstances align, Real Madrid could once again shake the football world with one of the most explosive attacking duos in history.
