Roma are trying to secure the signing of Mika Marmol from Las Palmas.
The 23-year-old centreback is tipped to become Mario Hermoso’s replacement following the ex-Atletico Madrid man’s move to Bayer Leverkusen.
According to Il Messaggero, Roma sporting director Florent Ghisolfi has set up a meeting with Marmol’s agent for today.
The objective will be to get Las Palmas to lower their demands as Roma do not wish to fulfill the 10 million euro release clause.
Ghisolfi wants to secure Marmol as soon as possible seeing as Roma will be without Gianluca Mancini in the next round of the Coppa Italia with Milan.
