According to an exclusive report from Foot Mercato, the Saudi Arabian government want to place Vinicius Jr. (24) at Al Hilal SFC from 2026 and travelled to Madrid to try and convince him of their project.

The French outlet further writes that the Saudi Arabian government have already offered him a four-year contract that would make him by far the richest player in world football, while also providing him with a significant say over the club’s recruitment.

Vinicius is said to be entertaining the idea. However, he is only interested in leaving in 2026 as he wants to continue his search for a Ballon d’Or after he missed out on the individual trophy which was instead awarded to Rodri (28).

Real Madrid attempt to fend off Vinicius’ interest

It was reported by Relevo that Real Madrid view the Brazilian winger as the cornerstone of their project and have already begun negotiations with their player to try and keep him beyond the end of his contract in 2027.
