The Serie A fixture between Roma and Cagliari scheduled for Sunday March 16 will now be played slightly later than originally scheduled to accommodate a busy weekend of sport in the Italian capital, which will also feature the marathon and a highly anticipated Six Nations match between Italy and Ireland.
The Lega Serie A have confirmed that Roma-Cagliari will now kick off at 15.00 GMT on March 16, one hour later than the typical 14.00 slot.
This is due to the bumper crowds expected in the city that weekend, and to appropriately spread resources in terms of safety and policing.

The Rome marathon is also due to take place on March 16, and will also begin half an hour earlier than originally schedule to leave enough time before the Roma-Cagliari match at the Stadio Olimpico.
The Olimpico will also host the international rugby match between Italy and Ireland in the six nations on Saturday March 15, which is due to get underway at 14.15 GMT.
