Southampton sack Ivan Juric

Southampton have parted ways with Ivan Juric after less than five months in charge of the Saints.

The club’s relegation was sealed last Sunday after a 3-1 loss to Tottenham, which led to the Croatian coach’s dismissal.

This is the second time Juric’s been sacked this season, having also been let go after 12 games at Roma.

The defeat to Spurs was Southampton's 25th of the season in the league, leaving them with only 10 points from 31 matches.

Juric, who replaced in December, has lost 12 out of 14 games with the south coast side, securing just one win.

Southampton have also confirmed that Simon Rusk has agreed to take over as interim manager for the final seven matches of the season. Rusk will be supported by Adam Lallana.
