Check out the standout facts and figures from Paris Saint-Germain’s 7-0 win over Stade Briochin in the Coupe de France quarter-finals.
Les Parisiens' fifth goal against Stade Briochin last night was their 100th across all competitions in 2024–2025 – a milestone that they have now hit in each of their last 13 seasons – and, to put the icing on the cake, that 100th goal was scored by Senny Mayulu, a Paris Saint-Germain academy graduate.
Incidentally, at 18 years and 285 days old, Mayulu became the third-youngest Paris player to score at least one goal and to provide at least one assist in the same competitive fixture, behind only David Ngog and Kylian Mbappé.
In a similar vein, Les Parisiens have now scored 50 goals across all competitions since the turn of the calendar year, which is the highest total of any team playing in Europe's top five leagues.
Just a few days after putting seven goals past Brest, which gave them an aggregate total of ten goals in their Champions League tie and 18 across all meetings with SB29 this season, Paris notched up another 7-0 win in northwestern France last night, this time against Stade Briochin.
This was the 12th time in the last ten years that Les Rouge et Bleu had scored at least seven goals in the same competitive fixture, which is at least seven more times than any other current Ligue 1 side (Monaco have done so on five occasions in the same period). Also, thanks to last night's win, PSG have now come out on top in each of their last nine matches across all competitions, which is their joint longest winning streak since their nine-game run of victories between January and February 2020.
Most importantly, though, Les Parisiens are now heading into their 23rd Coupe de France semi-final!
Aside from the aforementioned Mayulu's scintillating stats, there are plenty more to go around. For example, last night saw João Neves score his second goal in 11 games in 2025, which is as many as he had managed in his first 22 appearances for Paris in 2024.
In addition, Désiré Doué has registered 11 goal involvements for the capital club since the turn of the calendar year, scoring four and assisting in seven. Of the players born in the 21st century and plying their trade in Europe's top five leagues, only Bradley Barcola has had a hand in more goals across all competitions this year (15, scoring six and assisting in nine).
Finally, thanks to his hat trick on Wednesday evening, Gonçalo Ramos has now scored eight goals in the Coupe de France since arriving in the French capital last season, which is the highest tally of any player featuring in games from the round of 64 onwards.
