Manchester United are reportedly looking closely at Inter Milan defender Yann Bisseck as a transfer target for the upcoming summer window.

The Red Devils could do well to add more depth to their defensive options, especially as new manager Ruben Amorim prefers to play three at the back.

Lisandro Martinez’s injury problems have also been a concern, while Victor Lindelof is nearing the end of his contract, so there’s surely room for someone like Bisseck to come in.

The Germany international has shone for Inter, helping Simone Inzaghi’s side reached their second Champions League final in the last three seasons.

Would Yann Bisseck really leave this Inter side for Man United?

Given Inter’s success, it perhaps seems surprising that Bisseck would consider this struggling United side right now, but he’s being strongly linked by Fichajes.

It seems the 24-year-old is becoming an increasingly top target for United, while the report adds that he’d also be keen on moving to the Premier League, meaning talks could accelerate soon.

Still, Inter might not be too keen on selling, and that could be the end of this particular piece of Man Utd news.

MUFC clearly still have a lot of pull, though, even amid their current struggles as they’re slumped all the way down in 15th place in the Premier League table.

Yann Bisseck chasing Champions League glory with Inter

Bisseck and Inter are now preparing to take on Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League final at the end of this season.

It will be intriguing to see who can come out on top in that game, with both teams looking fully deserving of their place in the final in Munich.

Inter beat Barcelona in a thrilling tie which finished 7-6 on aggregate, while PSG did well to get past Arsenal in their semi-final.

Both look like they’d be worthy winners of the trophy, but could it end up being Bisseck’s last appearance for the Nerazzuri?>
