FLW takes a look at which Portsmouth players are set to be out of contract at the end of the season.

Portsmouth may use the international break as an opportunity to assess their players who are currently set to be out of contract in the summer of 2025.

Pompey are still yet to pick up their first win in the Championship this season, having been promoted from League One as champions at the end of the 2023/24 campaign.

Despite Portsmouth's slow start this term, head coach John Mousinho and sporting director Rich Hughes were both handed new deals in September, although there are still several players who will be out of contract at the end of the season.

Loanees Sam Silvera, Freddie Potts and Mark O'Mahoney will return to their parent clubs at the end of the season, but there are also seven permanently contracted Pompey players who will also depart if nothing changes.

Colby Bishop

Striker Colby Bishop, who scored 21 goals in League One last season, is set to be out of contract in 2025, although the club does have an option to extend his deal by a year.

The 27-year-old is yet to make an appearance this season after undergoing heart surgery during the summer, but it was confirmed that he was 'on the road to recovery' last month.

Regan Poole

Defender Regan Poole recently made his return to first team action having been sidelined due to an ACL injury since last year, but he is set to be out of contract next summer.

The 26-year-old, who joined Pompey from Lincoln City, is likely to be offered fresh terms before his deal comes to an end at the end of the season.

Andre Dozzell

Midfielder Andre Dozzell signed for Portsmouth on a free transfer in August following his departure from Queens Park Rangers.

The former Ipswich Town man agreed a one-year deal at Fratton Park, meaning that he is currently set to be out of contract in 2025, although there is an option for it to be extended by a further year.

Ben Stevenson

Ben Stevenson has not made the impact that he would have hoped for since joining Portsmouth from Forest Green Rovers in 2023, having played just five league games for the club.

He came off the bench against Luton Town during Pompey's first home game back in the Championship in August, but he has yet to make a league appearance since, and his deal is set to expire next year.

Tom Lowery

Tom Lowery is another player who has not been part of Mousinho's plans so far this season, having only featured in the EFL Cup defeat against Millwall so far.

The former Crewe Alexandra midfielder, who played nine games as Portsmouth won the League One title last season, is due to be out of contract at the end of the 2024/25 campaign.

Zak Swanson

Right-back Zak Swanson penned a new one-year deal in the summer after helping Pompey achieve promotion back to the Championship last season.

The 24-year-old has impressed Mousinho in recent weeks, so he will be hopeful that he can continue to perform well and convince the club to take up the option to extend his contract by another year.

Kusini Yengi

Striker Kusini Yengi scored nine goals in League One last term, although he has only made two Championship appearances so far this season due to a groin injury.

The Australian could return to action after the international break, which may turn out to be vital for Portsmouth as they look to secure their first league win since returning to the second tier.

The 25-year-old's contract is currently set to expire in 2025, although the club have an option to extend his deal by a year.
