Gunners planning huge striker deal with one signing already agreed

Arsenal have been linked with a shock swoop for Victor Osimhen as we enter the business end of the January transfer window. The Gunners look intent on signing a new striker this month and are rumoured to have made contact over the Nigerian international, while Benjamin Sesko is also believed to be keen on a move to the Emirates Stadium amid other interest in the likes of Viktor Gyokeres and Matheus Cunha. Arsenal have already lined up a summer deal for Martin Zubimendi as they also chase midfield starlet Sverre Nypan and Brahim Diaz.
Manchester United are said to have also made a move for Osimhen, while they also look set to fight Chelsea and Liverpool for Jamie Gittens. Chelsea also have their eye on beating Liverpool to Stefanos Tzimas, while Tottenham urgently need signings amid speculation over Ange Postecoglou’s future and are again being linked with Marcus Rashford, Evann Guessand and Jonathan David following an injury to Dominic Solanke.

Liverpool fans will be very interested indeed in this new transfer update on Rayan Cherki.
The Reds have once again been heavily linked with the French winger during the current window as Arne Slot prepares for the future of his Anfield attack.
So far nothing has come to pass, but that could all change in the summer.
According to Sky Germany, Cherki has a secret verbal agreement to leave Lyon for a fee of €22m that was settled on after he penned a new contract extension until 2026 in September.
Bayern Munich, Bayer Leverkusen and Borussia Dortmund are also said to be monitoring the player.

We’ve already detailed this morning how Manchester United are said to have a “serious interest” in Borussia Dortmund’s English winger, also subject to admiring glances from Chelsea and a rumoured Bayern Munich approach.
According to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, Liverpool have also been scouting Gittens this season and are keeping a very close eye on the situation.

Chelsea could beat Liverpool, West Ham and Newcastle to a deal for Stefanos Tzimas.
The teenage Greek striker is currently impressing on loan in the German second division with FC Nurnberg, where he is on loan from PAOK.
Liverpool looked to be leading the race for Tzimas last week, with suggestions that Nurnberg could activate a £15m option to sign him on a permanent basis this month before quickly moving him on for a profit.
However, there is plenty of other Premier League interest in Tzimas, with Bild in Germany now reporting that Chelsea have moved to the front of the queue.

Tottenham reportedly have their eye on Evann Guessand as they urgently seek new signings before the deadline.
Spurs’ already depleted squad has now become even more thin following injuries to Dominic Solanke and Brennan Johnson that have increased the obvious need for transfers even further, with huge pressure mounting on manager Ange Postecoglou after the latest defeat at Everton.
According to TEAMtalk, Spurs have been scouting Nice forward Guessand as they look to bolster their attacking options.
The Ivory Coast international, 23, is said to be available for just £20m and Tottenham could now apparently intensify their interest, though face likely competition from West Ham and Bournemouth.

A transfer battle looks to brewing between Manchester United and Chelsea for Jamie Gittens.
The English winger, 20, continues to impress over in Germany with Borussia Dortmund and has attracted several admirers back in the Premier League.
Chelsea have already been linked with Gittens this month, with the Blues said to have him firmly on their radar along with Alejandro Garnacho.
But according to Florian Plettenberg of Sky Germany, United are also seriously interested in the former Manchester City youngster along with Bayern Munich, who have already made contact over a deal.
He reports that a failure to qualify for the Champions League this season would likely see Gittens leave Dortmund in the summer.

The Gunners tried hard to sign the Slovenian international in the summer, but he ended up staying put at RB Leipzig and agreeing a new contract.
However, Sesko is again being linked with a big-money exit from the Bundesliga in January, with Arsenal back in the running as they desperately seek additions up front.
The Mirror report that the 21-year-old has already signalled his desire to move to the Emirates Stadium, with Arsenal rumoured to be pondering a massive £70m bid for his services.

The Athletic report that Juventus are looking to cash in on Luiz just six months after his arrival, and would entertain bids or loan-to-buy offers.
City want another central midfielder and Luiz is one of multiple options, though would only consider a straight loan at this stage.

AC Milan have confirmed their interest in signing Kyle Walker.
The right-back has told Manchester City that he would like to explore transfer opportunities, and Milan are front of the queue to sign him.
AC Milan senior advisor Zlatan Ibrahimovic has confirmed talks are active.
He told DAZN: "Everyone knows that Walker is a great player, he did great things at City. Now we are checking if it is possible."
