Premier League sides could be forced into January action
Transfer news LIVE!
Arsenal are said to be keen on Barcelona defender Ronald Araujo, who wants to leave Spain this month as the January transfer window hots up. Elsewhere, £70million-rated Khvicha Kvaratskhelia has confirmed his desire to leave Napoli, with Paris Saint-Germain in pole position. Napoli are eyeing Alejandro Garnacho as a replacement.
PSG are expected to let striker Randal Kolo Muani leave on loan, with Tottenham and Manchester United very interested, along with Juventus who reportedly feel they have the edge over the Premier League pair. Kolo Muani's possible arrival at Old Trafford should see Marcus Rashford depart, while Kobbie Mainoo also faces an uncertain future. Chelsea, meanwhile, have reportedly submitted a bid for winger Yeremay Hernandez.
Barcelona have entered the race for Rashford, and Arsenal have also been credited with interest. The Gunners are in need of a forward and have been linked with a host of them this month, including Bryan Mbeumo, Jhon Duran, and Nico Williams. Now Joao Gomes is a reported target. Tottenham have sanctioned a loan exit for young defender Alfie Dorrington.
The 19-year-old was part of the Spurs squad who toiled to a 3-0 win away at non-league Tamworth, but failed to get on the pitch despite the game going to extra time.
Dorrington has just 13 minutes of action for Spurs this season and it has now been reported that the centre-back will spend the rest of the season on loan at Aberdeen.
Does this mean Spurs will bring in a new defender?
