Trent Alexander-Arnold sends social media message to Real Madrid boss Xabi Alonso | OneFootball

New Real Madrid signing Trent Alexander-Arnold has late this week piqued attentions across the Blancos fanbase.

This comes by way of a social media post on the part of the Englishman.

Defender Alexander-Arnold is of course fresh off seeing his long-awaited move from Liverpool to Real Madrid at last made official on Friday.

In a release across their website and social media platforms yesterday morning, the capital heavyweights announced:

‘Real Madrid C. F. and Liverpool FC have reached an agreement to sign Trent Alexander-Arnold for the next six seasons, from 1 June 2025 to 30 June 2031.’

TAA’s arrival of course comes amid something of a revolution at Real Madrid over the early weeks of the summer.

Florentino Pérez and co. have already sanctioned the arrivals of both Dean Huijsen and Xabi Alonso, with plenty more fresh faces expected to follow.

And as alluded to above, on the back of his move to Spain being confirmed, Alexander-Arnold has since sent something of a message the way of his new headmaster.

After Real Madrid unveiled a photo on Instagram of their latest signing in a warm exchange with Xabi Alonso, the former took to the comments section, to write:

‘El Jefe’ (The boss)
