The Eagles, under coach Dino Toppmöller, went into the game boasting a four-match unbeaten run in the Bundesliga, although the hosts did endure a reverse in their most recent outing against AS Roma in the UEFA Europa League. Ralph Hasenhüttl's Wolves, meanwhile, could point to one of the best away records this season.
Indeed, it was the Wolves who asserted themselves in the early stages here, with Joakim Mæhle squandering an excellent opportunity in the opening minutes when blasting over from close in. Frankfurt gradually grew into the game, with Ansgar Knauff forced a save from visiting goalkeeper Kamil Grabara.

The home side suffered an early setback when Robin Koch was forced off due to injury in the 15th minute, replaced by Rasmus Kristensen while Wolfsburg had another clear chance in the 32nd minute when Mattias Svanberg fired wide from a promising position.
A tame first-half preceded a far more dramatic affair after the break. Wolfsburg took the lead in the 50th minute after long ball caused confusion between Tuta and goalkeeper Kevin Trapp. With Mohamed Amoura lurking, Tuta inadvertently turned the ball into his own net.
Eintracht duly responded. Arthur Theate came close with a header that was spectaularly palmed out by Grabara.

The match took another turn when Wolfsburg were forced to change goalkeepers in the 66th minute, with Marius Müller making his Bundesliga debut replacing the injured Grabara.
Frankfurt continued to push, and Hugo Ekitiké came agonizingly close to equalizing in the 76th minute, his effort striking the frame of the goal. Yet the home side's persistence finally paid off with just nine minutes remaining. Substitute Can Uzun showed immense determination to get into position and head a cross from Jean-Mattéo Bahoya home for 1-1.

With both teams pushing for a winner, Uzun came close again with a shot that went just wide, while Frankfurt's Niels Nkounkou had a powerful effort blocked in stoppage time. Despite the late flurry of chances, both sides will feel a draw was a fair outcome. The result increased Frankfurt's unbeaten Bundesliga run to five games and kept Topmöller's men safe in third spot in the standings. Wolfsburg, meanwhile, are 10th.
Uzun's impact off the bench proved decisive for Eintracht. Introduced in the 68th minute, the young forward brought energy and purpose to the home attack. His well-timed run and precise header for the equaliser demonstrated both his positional awareness and finishing ability. The 19 year old's influence extended beyond the goal, as he recorded a total of five shots - the most of any player on the pitch - in just 22 minutes of play. His performance not only salvaged a point for his team but also highlighted his potential as a game-changing option for Toppmöller's side.
