Valencia eyeing surprise move for Bournemouth star | OneFootball

La Liga outfit Valencia have set their sights on what would be a surprising deal for a member of the defensive ranks at Bournemouth.

That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, who point towards Max Aarons as the player in question.

Los Che, it is understood, have made securing reinforcements at right-back something of a priority with a view to the 2nd half of the campaign.

As much comes owing to the ACL tear suffered by Thierry Correia.

With first-choice target Iván Fresneda looking all set for a move to Italy with Cesc Fàbregas’ Como, the Valencia brass have been forced to seek out alternative options.

And, as alluded to above, as per MD, one such profile to have emerged comes in the form of Max Aarons:

‘The Englishman is not in Andoni Iraola’s plans and has only played 85 minutes in the Premier League this season, so his loan seems affordable.’

An offer by way of the Mestalla for defender Aarons is in turn expected to arrive over the days ahead.
