Valencia pair return to training ahead of Celta Vigo | OneFootball

La Liga outfit Valencia have on Friday been afforded a double boost on the personnel front.

This comes amid confirmation that both Hugo Duro and Enzo Barrenechea have returned to training alongside the rest of Valencia’s squad.

The pair had previously been considered doubts to face Celta Vigo this weekend, owing to respective fitness concerns.

As per a report from El Chiringuito TV, though, both were back in the thick of things on Friday morning.

Not only that, but frontman Duro and midfielder Barrenechea were tested in a training ground XI which could yet take to the pitch at Mestalla on Sunday evening.

Still absent from group activities on Friday, on the other hand, was Dani Gómez.

The on-loan Levante man is therefore considered a serious doubt to play his part against Celta Vigo, as Valencia set about recovering from an alarming 7-1 setback at the hands of Barcelona last weekend.
