Vinicius Jr. reached a significant milestone last night when he stepped onto the pitch against Real Betis, becoming the 45th player in Real Madrid’s history to complete 300 appearances for the club.
However, what should have been a memorable occasion was overshadowed by a disappointing night for both him and his team.
Real Madrid suffered their fourth La Liga defeat of the season, and Vinicius struggled to make an impact, recording one of his most inaccurate performances of the campaign, losing possession 20 times.
At just 24 years and 232 days old, Vinicius now stands as the third youngest player to achieve this milestone for Real Madrid.
The only players to have done it at a younger age are club legends Raul Gonzalez, who managed it at 23 years and 154 days, and Iker Casillas, who reached the mark at 24 years and 165 days.

His 300 matches for Los Blancos are spread across multiple competitions, reflecting his crucial role in Madrid’s domestic and international success.
He has featured in 196 La Liga matches, 64 in the Champions League, 24 in the Copa del Rey, 10 in the Spanish Super Cup, 4 in the Club World Cup, and 2 in the UEFA Super Cup.
During these appearances, he has managed to score 101 goals, making him one of the club’s most prolific attackers.
Among Real Madrid’s greatest goal scorers, Vinicius now ranks ninth in terms of goals scored in his first 300 games.
He follows some of the most iconic figures in the club’s history, including Cristiano Ronaldo, Alfredo Di Stefano, Karim Benzema, Carlos Santillana, Raul, Amancio Amaro, Emilio Butragueno, and Juanito.
While his goal tally is still far from the top names on this list, it is a testament to his evolution as a player and his growing influence in the team.
Despite the disappointing result and his struggles against Real Betis, this milestone serves as a reminder of how far Vinicius has come since joining Real Madrid.
His rapid development and increasing impact on the pitch suggests that he will continue to add to his legacy at the club in the coming years.
