West Ham United could be willing to sell French defender Jean-Clair Todibo in the January transfer window, according to Gianluca Di Marzio.

The 24-year-old centre-back joined the Hammers in the summer window from Nice on loan with an obligation to buy.

He was targeted by Ligue 1 club Marseille in the January window, but the player told his representatives that he is happy at West Ham and want to repay the faith the club have shown in him.

However, in a dramatic twist of the situation, Di Marzio now claims Juventus are targeting Todibo, who was one of their top targets in the summer window.

The Old Lady came very close to signing the former Barcelona defender in the summer, and they are now exploring the idea of moving for him again this month.

The Sky Italy journalist says that West Ham are considering letting him go.

Juventus are looking to sign him on loan with an obligation to buy. West Ham signed Todibo on a similar agreement, and it looks strange that they are ready to offload him.

The central defender has made eight starts in the Premier League this season, and a further seven appearances have come from the bench.

The Athletic claims that Todibo had no interest in leaving the London club.
