MIAMI – The 2025 Concacaf W Futsal Championship, the inaugural edition of the tournament, will kick off on April 28 to determine the first champion of the region and the two representatives from Concacaf at the inaugural FIFA Futsal Women’s World Cup.

What

The inaugural Concacaf W Futsal Championship will start with a play-off round between the last two teams able to qualify, the winner will advance to the Group Stage to take place between April 29 and May 4.

After the Group Stage takes place, the top two group winners will advance to the Knockout stage, in which a single-match will dictate who advances to the Semifinals and Final.

Who

The Play-In match will take place between Honduras and Nicaragua, with the winner joining the Group Stage as part of Group B.

The national teams that will participate are:

Group A: Mexico, Panama, Cuba, Guatemala

Group B: United States, Canada, Costa Rica, Honduras/Nicaragua

The 2025 Concacaf W Futsal Championship will kick off on April 28 with the Play-In match. The Group Stage will start on April 29 and the tournament will conclude on May 4.

Where

The inaugural Concacaf W Futsal Championship will take place in at the Domo Polideportivo in Guatemala City, Guatemala.

History

This is the first edition of the Concacaf W Futsal Championship, which grew its contestant pool from seven to nine to show and develop the skills of this branch of football in the region.

Qualification for the 2025 FIFA Women's Futsal World Cup

The two finalists of the inaugural edition will represent Concacaf in the FIFA Futsal Women’s World Cup Philippines 2025 between November 21 and December 7.
