Robin Koch gave the first-year children at Karmeliterschule in Frankfurt a special treat as they start school.

Every child received a greeting card with motivational words from the Eintracht Frankfurt vice-captain as well as a breaktime snack box to give them the optimum start as they journey into the real world. The Germany defender also sent the class a video message, in which he wished the kids a lot of fun, great teachers and many new friends.

As a Laureus Sport for Good ambassador, Koch has always been committed to supporting children and, above all, showing them the joy of sport.

“In my role as a Laureus Sport for Good ambassador, I was more than happy to say a few words to the first-year children at Karmeliterschule in Frankfurt and give them a little gift for the start of school,” commented Koch. “Far more important than that is the motivation to go into this new chapter in their young lives with a lot of joy and enthusiasm. School should and must be a central building block of life for every child, which you should approach with the required seriousness but also with a lot of fun. I wish the new pupils at Karmeliterschule a lot of enjoyment, great teachers and many new friends.”

Karmeliterschule is a primary school which is involved in the ‘Fußball trifft Kultur’ (‘Football Meets Culture’) community programme.
